Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Discuss special needs with the surgeon before surgery.
• Prepare the operative site and instrument table.
• Ensure proper functioning of instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Perform surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments.
• Assist with draping, positioning, and passing sterile supplies.
• Disposal of waste and decontamination of instruments after cases.
