Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist 2 to support the operating room team under RN supervision. You will prep instruments, maintain sterile fields, and ensure equipment is ready and functioning for procedures.

Responsibilities include counts, assisting with draping and positioning, and maintaining compliance with infection control standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited surgical technology program.
• Certification as CST by NBSTSA (or successor) is required or in process.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and infection control guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Assist the surgical team by preparing the sterile field and instrument trays.
• Maintain instrument tables and ensure proper counts throughout procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning and availability of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Follow infection control policies and regulatory guidelines throughout cases.
