NYU Langone Health seeks a Surgical Technologist for Essex Crossing OSC-Day Shift (37.5 hours). Under supervision of a licensed nurse, scrub on all procedures in the OR and assist physicians in procedural areas.

The role includes instrument handling, supply preparation, and collaboration with the RN Circulator. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS certification, and NBSTSA-accredited program graduation with certification on hire.

Qualifikationen

• To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Required (American Heart Association).
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program through NBSTSA. Certification required upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room and assist the physician.
• Prepare and gather supplies and equipment based on procedure preference card.
• Maintain sterile technique and report any deviations or issues to the RN Circulator.
• Provide support as a secondary circulator and assist as needed.
• Participate in safety, quality, and ongoing education activities.
