NYU Langone Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the ACC 21 OR-Day Shift. You will scrub on all procedures under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist physicians in procedural areas.

Ideal candidates have NBSTSA certification, a high school diploma, and ideally NYU Surgical Tech Program graduate status. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing professional development are provided.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS Required (American Heart Association).
• Graduate of NBSTSA Surgical Technologist program; Certification required upon hire.

Aufgaben

• Scrub on all surgical procedures in the Operating Room under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Assist physician in procedural areas as a second circulator when needed.
• Anticipate and gather required supplies and equipment; escalate needs with the RN Circulator.
• Communicate count, equipment, instrumentation and outcomes clearly; perform duties in a professional team setting.
