NYU Langone Health is seeking a Surgical Technologist for the ACC 21 OR-Day Shift (37.5 Hours). You will support the circulating RN, prepare instruments, and participate in patient care activities to ensure safe, efficient operative procedures.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma, BLS, NBSTSA-certified technologist program completion, and certification on hire. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, and adherence to safety standards within a large academic medical center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS required (American Heart Association).
• Graduate of NBSTSA-accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Certification required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Takes initiative to make recommendations to leadership for updates to Physician preference cards.
• Assists on procedures as a secondary circulator under the supervision of the RN Circulator.
• Ensures specimens are properly identified and labeled in coordination with the Registered Nurse.
