Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technician 3 to support operative procedures. You will assist a Registered Nurse, manage equipment and supplies, and coordinate with surgeons and team members for safe, efficient surgeries.

Responsibilities include instrument prep, counts, draping assistance, and post-case OR cleanup, under infection control and OSHA guidelines. A 15K sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program.
• EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - BLS required; CST certification or equivalent per policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical area and equipment prior to procedures.
• Maintain instrument table setup and perform counts.
• Assist with draping and patient positioning for the surgical team.
• Ensure all instruments and supplies function correctly during procedures.
• Prepare soiled instruments for transit to decontamination.
• Clean the OR after each case and organize equipment in storage areas.
