Qualifications

• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: Less than 1 year in surgical tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and scrub into surgery with instruments ready.
• Set up and maintain instrument table to ensure correct counts.
• Ensure proper functioning of instruments, equipment, and supplies during procedures.
• Assist with draping, positioning, and handling specimens.
• Follow infection control policies, OSHA guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and assist with instrument decontamination.
