Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Surgical Technician 3 to support operating room procedures. You will prepare sterile fields, assist surgeons and nurses, and manage instruments and supplies to maintain patient safety.

The role requires an accredited surgical technology program graduate with CST and BLS certification, plus 2 years of OR experience preferred. This full-time position is based in Texas with competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus where eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Two years of operating room experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon and RN during operations to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and instrument tables.
• Count sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
• Ensure proper setup, instrument functionality, and timely availability of supplies.
• Maintain infection control policies and safe operating environment.
