Qualifications

• BLS certification required (BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire/transfer).
• Two years of surgical technician experience.
• Graduation from an accredited program.
• Current CST certification or eligibility as noted (military/Public Health ST training acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile field and instruments.
• Assist surgeon and RN during operations to improve efficiency.
• Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Ensure proper setup and maintenance of instrument tables.
• Perform counts of surgical items and ensure compliance with policies.
