Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Surgical Technician 3 to assist in the operating room. You will support the Registered Nurse, manage equipment and instruments, and help ensure a safe, efficient surgical flow.

You will handle supplies for a specific service line, communicate with surgeons and team members, keep the instrument table organized, and follow infection control and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Experience: 2 Years of Experience.
• Certification/License: BLS and CST require current status/recency as specified.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon and RN to prepare and manage surgical cases.
• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
• Perform counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments per policy.
