Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a dedicated scheduler to manage the surgical calendar and related documentation at our Parker facility. This role requires coordinating with physicians, office staff, and hospital departments to ensure timely, accurate scheduling of surgeries and related admissions.

The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience, strong English communication, and proficient MS Office skills. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak conversational English.
• 3+ years in a healthcare setting.
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgeries with physicians and office staff using the facility's designated method.
• Obtain scheduling, demographic, insurance, and clinical information to schedule or reschedule events.
• Prepare the advance surgical schedule and coordinate with Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Admissions, surgeons, etc.
• Maintain hospital schedules through calls, faxes, and other methods; assist with staff orientation as needed.
• Provide courteous telephone etiquette and clear, concise communications.
