CEENTA in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler to coordinate surgical care and support physicians and clinical teams. You will act as a key liaison between patients, providers, and care teams to ensure seamless scheduling and an exceptional patient experience.

In this role you will schedule procedures, verify orders and CPT codes, prepare consents and notes, manage block times, and ensure correct site, time, and resources.

Competenze

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in a medical office setting.
• Preferred: surgical scheduling, insurance verification, Epic experience.

Mansioni

• Schedule all surgical procedures for assigned physicians, including post-operative visits.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, clinical teams, and patients.
• Verify physician orders, CPT codes, and diagnoses for accuracy.
• Prepare surgical documentation, including consents, clinical notes, and test results.
• Coordinate surgical instruments, equipment, and scheduling logistics.
• Manage physician block time and identify opportunities for improved scheduling efficiency.
• Respond to patient inquiries and provide pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Document all patient communications accurately in the EHR.
• Ensure accurate scheduling of procedures, including correct site, time, and resources.
• Assist clinical team members with clinic support as needed.
