Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in a healthcare scheduling role, preferably surgical services.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule surgical procedures with surgeons, providers, patients, and clinical teams.
• Enter cases accurately into scheduling system with all required details.
• Coordinate preoperative requirements and necessary clearances.
• Communicate scheduling updates and changes to patients and staff.
• Maintain scheduling records and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
