Job summary

Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon division is seeking an Account Executive - Advanced Surgical Instruments to support the Shreveport, LA territory. This role focuses on selling comprehensive surgical devices and solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, with emphasis on energy sealing, dissection, and wound closure platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in medical device or healthcare sales, and a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Ethicon surgical device offerings and solutions, focusing on energy sealing and dissection, sutures, staplers, and wound closure platforms.
• Sell surgical solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in operating rooms.
• Manage a defined territory and attain forecast in assigned accounts/territory.
• Set priorities and make sound business decisions based on sales opportunities within accounts.
• Build excellent customer relations with physicians, hospital staff, and distributors; conduct education seminars as appropriate.
• Train to demonstrate proper use of products to clinicians in operating room; manage questions/objections; drive sales cycle to action.
