Job summary

BD, a leading medical technology company, seeks a Procedural Specialist to promote AR&R products through clinical support and education across a defined geographic area. You will educate physicians and hospital staff, coordinate field-level training, and establish strong relationships with surgeons and OR teams while supporting regional leadership.

The role requires 60–80% travel, strong clinical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office, PowerBI, Salesforce, and Showpad.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree highly preferred; or 6+ years relevant experience with HS diploma.
• 3–5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas.
• Surgical and procedure knowledge.
• Medical terminology and basic anatomy knowledge.
• Current credentialing/certification in clinical discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of surgery; experience with general/plastic surgeons preferred.
• Experience in the hernia space.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with MS Office, PowerBi, Salesforce SFDC, and Showpad.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to travel 60–80%.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Criminal background satisfactory to BD.
• Meet customer/medical facility access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians and hospital staff on AR&R products.
• Coordinate field-level training and clinical support for cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Monitor market trends affecting AR&R sales and product development.
• Represent BD according to policies; process complaints/returns.
• Maintain reports and company property; travel as needed.
• Support AR&R procedures as directed by the Regional Manager.
