Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree highly preferred; or minimum of 6 years equivalent relevant work experience with High School diploma.
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas (e.g., ICU or PACU).
• Surgical and procedure knowledge adequate to support clinical cases.
• Medical and surgical terminology; basic anatomy knowledge.
• Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of surgery; experience with general or plastic surgeons preferred.
• Experience in the hernia space.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Self-motivated; takes on additional responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerBi, SFDC, and Showpad.
• Ability to travel 60-80% with multiple overnights.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Criminal background satisfactory to BD.
• Meet customer/medical facility access requirements including drug screenings.
• Maintain vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and staff on AR&R products via case support and training programs.
• Coordinate field training and technical support of clinical cases with field sales and logistics.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, hospitals and physicians to obtain new users and applications.
• Observe and report market trends affecting AR&R sales and product development.
• Maintain relationships with Region Manager, Territory Managers, ATMs and customers.
• Represent BD per policies and procedures.
• Process customer complaints and returns per procedures.
• Maintain company vehicle and company property.
• Complete and process Procedural Specialist and product tracking reports.
• Fulfill duties of Territory Manager in vacant territories and support AR&R as directed.
• Other duties as required.
