Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking a Procedural Specialist for AR&R support across a defined region. You will educate physicians and hospital staff, coordinate clinical training, and build relationships with surgeons and OR teams.

Required experience in operating rooms, surgical knowledge, and credentialing. Expect extensive travel (60–80%) and a home-based role with in-office coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; or minimum of 6 years equivalent work experience with HS diploma.
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in the Operating Room or procedural areas.
• Surgical and procedure knowledge adequate to support clinical cases.
• Medical and surgical terminology; basic anatomy knowledge.
• Current credentialing and/or certification in respective clinical discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of surgery; experience with general or plastic surgeons preferred.
• Experience in the hernia space.
• Ability to travel 60–80%.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities and works with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on AR&R products through case support and in-servicing.
• Coordinate field-level training and technical support of clinical cases with sales and logistics.
• Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospital staff and coordinators.
• Observe market trends affecting AR&R sales, service and product development.
• Maintain relationships with Region Manager, Territory Managers and customers.
• Represent BD in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Process customer complaints and returns per procedures.
