Wellstar Health System is seeking a Scheduler to support the surgical scheduling process in a fast-paced office. You will handle heavy phone volume, coordinate surgeries, and manage calendar accuracy to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include obtaining authorizations, coordinating with providers and vendors, and maintaining scheduling templates in Epic while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication with patients and staff.

Formación

• Strong customer service and communication skills required.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic insurance knowledge and pre-certification understanding preferred.
• Must communicate in English clearly, both verbal and written.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule surgeries and post them on physicians' calendars.
• Coordinate with vendors and other offices for procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization and manage related paperwork.
• Maintain up-to-date surgery calendar and minimize double-bookings.
• Assist with patient scheduling and respond to inquiries with professionalism.
