Job summary

Swift Surgery Center of Reno, part of United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to maintain the daily surgery schedule and manage the scheduling process. You will coordinate with doctors' offices and operating room staff, resolving scheduling conflicts with strategic, customer-focused approaches.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and outstanding customer service, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hospital or medical office experience required.
• Surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet fast-paced demand.

Swift Surgery Center of Reno has an opening for a Surgery Scheduler.

Swift Surgery Center of Reno is a fast-paced, multi-specialty, ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. We offer an elevated patient experience for services across several specialties, including orthopedics, spine, and interventional pain management.

What You Will Do (Job Summary):

The Surgery Scheduler plays a vital role in a successful surgical procedure.

The Surgery Scheduler is responsible for daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process.

This includes strategizing and problem solving and ensuring high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors' offices and operating room staff.

The successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership, communication and customer service skills as well as the ability to diffuse difficult scheduling conflicts efficiently with strategy.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous successful/positive customer service encounters or programs.

Monday-Friday work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
