United Surgical Partners International (USPI) seeks a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler to maintain daily surgery schedules and coordinate complex calendars with doctors’ offices and OR staff.

Full-Time Surgery Scheduler

Haymarket Surgery Center is a multispecialty surgical facility dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. We pride ourselves on delivering efficient, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients and their families.

Under the direction of the Business Office Manager, is responsible for daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of the scheduling process. This includes strategizing and problem solving and ensuring high levels of customer service with scheduling coordinators from all doctors offices and Operating Room Staff.

Successful candidate will possess outstanding leadership, communication and customer service skills as well as the ability to diffuse difficult scheduling conflicts efficiently with strategy. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous successful/positive customer service encounters or programs.

Required Skills:

• Previous experience as a Surgery Scheduler, Medical Office Coordinator, or similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive patient conversations.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and electronic medical records systems.
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a high-energy, collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures is a plus.
