Job summary

Swift Surgery Center of Reno is seeking a dedicated Surgery Scheduler to maintain daily surgical schedules and coordinate with physicians’ offices and OR staff. This role emphasizes outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced ASC environment.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years hospital or medical office experience, familiarity with medical terminology, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of hospital or medical office experience.
• Surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service.
• Able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Time management to meet fast-paced demand.
• Professional appearance.
• Strong medical terminology experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the surgery schedule daily and manage scheduling processes for procedures.
• Coordinate scheduling with doctors' offices and operating room staff to ensure smooth procedures.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts using strategy while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Demonstrate leadership and clear communication to support surgical teams.
