Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to assist physicians in the operating room across multiple specialties. You will perform technical and patient care duties under RN direction and act as a resource for surgical teams.

Required are a Surgical Tech certification, a GED, and a Surgical Technology or LPN program background, with 3 years of experience. Sign-on bonus available and caregivers for the OR team are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience and Surgical Tech Certification Required
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can substitute for certification; total 10 years required

Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
