Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician to support the operating room across multiple specialties. You will perform technical and patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse and assist physicians during procedures.

This role requires a Surgical Technology program or LPN program and BCLS certification on hire. A sign-on bonus is available, with opportunities for growth within the surgical services team.

Competenze

• GED/HS diploma required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology or LPN program is required.
• BCLS certification upon hire preferred.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
