Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia seeks an OR Surgical Technologist to assist surgeons across multiple specialties, performing technical and some patient care duties under a Registered Nurse. The role acts as a clinical resource and supports surgical teams within the operating room environment.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, completion of a Surgical Technology or LPN program, and 3 years of surgical tech experience with certification, or 10 years total experience in lieu

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.
• 3 years of experience with Surgical Tech Certification required.
• Alternatively, 7 years of experience can substitute for certification for a total of 10 years.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
