Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a surgical technologist who will assist physicians during surgery in the operating room and provide technical and patient care under RN supervision. The role requires coordination across multiple surgical specialties and responsibilities as a resource for the department.

Education must include a Surgical Technology program or LPN program, with appropriate licensure where applicable. This position is based in Georgia and operates within the hospital setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
