Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech to assist physicians in the Operating Room across multiple specialties. You will perform technical tasks and some patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, acting as a clinical resource and supporting surgical services across departments.

Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
