Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a surgical technologist to assist physicians in the operating room for multiple specialties. You will perform technical tasks and patient care duties under the direction of a registered nurse, acting as a clinical resource across surgical service lines.

The role requires a surgical tech certification or equivalent experience, with State licensure requirements and a strong background in OR procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician during surgery in the OR across multiple specialties under RN direction.
• Perform technical and some patient care duties and serve as a resource within the surgery department.

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
