Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist physicians in the OR across multiple specialties. You will perform technical duties and patient care tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and act as a resource for surgical teams.

The role emphasizes maintaining surgical standards and may require CST, LPN licensure, and BCLS upon hire. Sign-on bonus available and on-site work at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology Program or LPN program required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience required, or 10 years total experience could substitute for certification.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) Upon Hire required; LPN license current in GA upon hire; CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required

Work Experience

• 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
• In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
