Job summary

Five Below is hiring at our Orlando location for an hourly Store Leader role. You will supervise crew, ensure fast, friendly checkout, and maintain stock and store standards. You’ll train associates, handle opening/closing duties, and work with leadership to drive sales while controlling expenses.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year of management experience, and strong communication skills. Flexibility for day, evening, weekends, and travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wow customers through personal contact and service.
• Train crew on the BEST customer service experience for a fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure quality service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and stocking to keep shelves full.
• Act as Manager on Duty and own store operations and staff management when needed.
• Open/close the store, secure cash, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates and policy adherence.
• Drive sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and performance.
• Collaborate with store leadership on merchandising and store operations.
• Perform routine store maintenance and comply with policies and procedures.
