Job summary

Five Below is seeking a store management professional to ensure exceptional customer service, supervise crew, and oversee daily operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires leading by example, training associates, and driving sales while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and think creatively.
• Maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience for fast, friendly check out.
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure excellent customer service.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for floor placement.
• Act as Manager on Duty, taking responsibility for store operations and staff.
• Open/close store, secure cash, lock doors, set alarms, ensure daily operations run smoothly.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance.
• Partner with store leadership in merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Perform store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
