Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Substations Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation projects across U.S. locations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance.

You will manage budgets, risk, and staffing for multi‑discipline teams, coordinating with procurement and accounting to deliver successful power delivery and project outcomes. You will develop proposals, cost estimates, and schedules, while maintaining client satisfaction and compliance with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline; equivalent experience in power delivery environments.
• 7–10 years of progressive PM experience delivering HV/EHV substation or utility-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle in A/E/C and ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical project supervision for HV/EHV substation projects, including budgets, schedules, QA/QC, safety, and client satisfaction.
• Develop proposals, cost estimates, project scopes, schedules, and resource plans for utility-scale power delivery work.
• Create WBS and cost-loaded schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and energization activities.
• Lead staffing decisions for engineering and field teams, ensuring QA/QC and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor earned value, cash flow, and budgeted margin; manage change and risk throughout project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with procurement and project accounting; deliver regular client and management reporting.
