Job summary

HDR Engineering is currently seeking a Substation Project Manager to join our growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals. Opportunities are available in several preferred locations, including Portland and Salem.

The role involves managing substations projects of all sizes, coordinating with design teams, and ensuring project execution on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• FE, PE license preferred; PMP can substitute for PE.
• Experience with system projection, planning, and public involvement.
• Strong interaction with design teams and solid written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and programs through full life cycle from initiation to closeout.
• Mentor engineers, EITs, designers, and support staff.
• Oversee schedule, scope, budget, and quality control.
• Coordinate public engagement, permitting, and real estate aspects when needed.
• Support marketing and client relationship development in region.
