Job summary

HDR Engineering seeks a Substation Project Manager to join our Power Delivery practice. This role will manage substation projects domestically and potentially abroad, working with design teams to execute projects and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include leading project life cycles, coordinating with engineers and staff, and supporting client management and business development in the region and beyond. A Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, with PE/FE/PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills (written & verbal).
• Experience managing substation engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Substation projects of various sizes and complexities from scope to closeout.
• Direct and mentor project engineers, EITs, coordinators, designers and CAD staff.
• Oversee QA/QC per HDR QMS; manage schedule, budget and client engagement.
