Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Project Manager to guide large, complex substation projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate multi‑discipline teams and align engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities with customer goals and contract requirements.

You will communicate with leadership, manage risks, and ensure safe, on-time, on-budget results. Strong PM discipline and cross-functional collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience relevant to the role in substations, grid infrastructure, energy, or other large industrial projects.
• Minimum 3 years of direct site execution experience on substation, grid infrastructure, or large-scale industrial/construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of complex substation projects ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Coordinate multiple sub-projects and workstreams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and customer interface.
• Establish governance, track actions, escalate issues, and report to leadership with clear performance insights.
