Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high-priority substation and FACTS projects, managing scope, cost, schedule, risk, and quality. You will act as a primary liaison for executive customers and internal teams, directing resources and strategies to successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in electrical substation project management, PMI/PMP familiarity, and the ability to travel up to 25% (including international trips) while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of project management experience in electrical substations or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of large, high-visibility projects in electrical substations and FACTS markets.
• Serve as single point of contact for senior customer contacts and project teams.
• Direct resources, schedule, cost and risk management to meet customer specs and safety standards.
• Estimate budgets and track costs to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, suppliers, and customers to align project requirements.
• Coach project staff to enhance project management capabilities.
• Ensure contract administration and change management processes are followed.
