Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior Substation Project Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline team across design services and EPC programs. You will oversee design quality, budgets, and schedules while supporting client interactions, proposals, and business development.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, 11+ years of related experience, and ideally professional licensure. Hybrid/flexible work options and relocation eligibility are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 11 years of related work experience.
• Professional registration/licensure (P.E.) preferred.
• Ability to travel to client sites and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex engineering deliverables for mega projects.
• Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and oversee design quality and client interaction.
• Support business development and pursuit activities with clients.
