Qualifications

• Requires ABET-accredited engineering degree and PE licensure.
• 10+ years in substation engineering with focus on 69kV+ substations.
• NCEES/Professional Engineer registration in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and engineering/technical direction to substation design teams.
• Ensure teams have training, tools, and environment to perform at high level.
• Coach, train and mentor engineers and designers and supervisors.
• Provide feedback and set priorities for personal and professional development.
• Perform project management and controls; act as Responsible Charge for engineering.
• Manage cost and utilization goals through planning, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Maintain engineering standards and compliance with codes and standards.
• Develop and maintain client relations and engagement with Pike Engineering clients.
• Ensure adherence to Pike Engineering safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in recruiting, business development and strategic planning.
