Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer Intern to join our Grid team. You will support the design and modification of transmission, substation, and renewable energy projects under the supervision of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include assisting with calculations, specifications, and project reporting while expanding your engineering knowledge and hands-on experience in 3D modeling and AI-enabled tools. Summer 2027 start is targeted.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in BS or MS degree with strong preference in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering.
• Coursework including Coding, 3D Modeling/Design, and experience using AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities and progress.
