Electric Power Systems (EPS) is hiring an entry-level Control Technician I to assist with installation, inspection, and maintenance of control wiring systems in electrical substations across North America. You will develop foundational skills in cable installation, terminations, and print reading under direct supervision, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will work closely with senior technicians and engineers, perform basic cable prep, support testing activities, and help keep

• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen as safety sensitive role.
• Criminal background check required.
• Willingness to overtime and travel.
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and use PPE in substation work.
• Participate in safety training and daily briefings.
• Assist with receiving and staging materials per lists.
• Support cable pulling and routing under supervision.
• Learn wiring diagrams and terminologies for control wiring.
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean condition.
• Support megger testing preparation under supervision.
