Electrical Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a motivated Control Technician I to assist with installation, inspection, and maintenance of control wiring in substations. You will gain hands-on skills in cable work and print reading under direct supervision, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check required.
• Overtime and travel for periods of time.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and PPE in substation environments.
• Assist in receiving, staging, and verifying materials.
• Support cable pulling and routing under supervision.
• Learn wiring diagrams and print reading to complete tasks.
• Work with senior technicians and engineers on field activities.
• Maintain tools and work areas in good condition.
