Job summary

Sedgwick seeks a Subrogation Team Lead in Pennsylvania to manage the recovery team across jurisdictions and lines of business. You will authorize litigation when needed, guide colleagues on subrogation strategy, and drive timely resolutions with a focus on cost containment.

As a senior leader, you will review files, conduct training, and partner with clients to maximize recoveries while maintaining quality and compliance. The role requires strong negotiation and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; licenses as required.
• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Leads the recovery team which pursues potential subrogation recoveries arising from claims across all jurisdictions and lines of business.
• Ensures compliance with established recovery procedures and standards.
• Maintains quality control.
• Conducts periodic file reviews of team members' files.
• Acts as first-line authorization for litigation, including appeals, on any recovery claim.
• Authorizes payment of bills over the delegated authority of the reviewer.
• Provides guidance to colleagues on subrogation counsel for high complex cases and handles escalations.
• Schedules client file reviews and participates in discussions of subrogation resolution.
• Provides guidance on claim payments and conducts audits to ensure guidelines are followed.
