Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Subrogation Recovery Specialist in Reading, PA to evaluate collection and subrogation opportunities, identify liable parties, and aggressively pursue settlements.

You will coordinate with departments, customers, adjustors, attorneys, and witnesses to collect necessary evidence and negotiate optimal recoveries. The role emphasizes data analysis, prompt decision-making, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• High School degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in subrogation recovery claims handling preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in adjusting claims preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to make fact-based decisions promptly.
• Independent thinker, self-starter, able to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Access, Excel, Word, AS400, Outlook, and Internet research.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and determine party responsible for accident or damage.
• Research and obtain supporting documentation for all expenses related to the claim.
• Prepare demands and negotiate settlements based on opposing arguments to optimize results.
• Utilize best practices to determine if outside vendor intervention is needed.
• Receive and apply funds to ensure proper financial processing by accounts receivable.
• Communicate with stakeholders on recover status, resolution, and file closure.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.
