Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. Candidates should be punctual, have a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs, and maintain a clean driving record.

The role requires a regular driver's license with at least three years licensed, and a CDL with passenger endorsement for larger buses; 15-passenger vans require no special license. A background check and yearly physician's statement are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a regular driver's license and at least 3 years licensed.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in 5 years.
• Active church involvement aligning with LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL with passenger endorsement (P) for 15+ seat buses; 15-passenger vans require no special license.
• Ages 21–80; additional docs for drivers over 75.
• Background check and yearly physician's statement required.
• Drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe, calm environment; enforce safety rules and assist students as needed.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classrooms if agreed with the Director.
