Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. You must maintain a clean driving record, pass a background check, and be aligned with our faith statement. Duties include safe driving, bus maintenance, and classroom volunteering if approved by the Director.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and a caring demeanor while ensuring student well-being during transport.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in last 5 years
• Background check through LifeWise Academy
• Annual Physician's Statement if medical condition is known
• Complete drug and/or alcohol testing as required

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus
• Perform regular inspections of the bus
• Refuel the vehicle as needed
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director
