Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site.

The ideal candidate will have a mature Christian faith, a clean driving record, and the ability to maintain a calm and caring demeanor while enforcing safety rules for students.

Responsibilities include driving the bus, performing inspections, and, if agreed upon with the Director, volunteering in the LifeWise classroom.

Qualifications

• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver's license and continuous licensure for past 3 years.
• CDL with passenger endorsement for 15+ passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain safety of passengers.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and assist with entry/exit.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if approved by the Director.
