Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time vehicle driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. You will be responsible, punctual, and maintain a clean driving record while following all safety rules.

This role requires a valid driver's license (CDL with P endorsement for larger vehicles when applicable), background checks, and adherence to LifeWise policies. A mature Christian faith and local church involvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a valid regular driver's license and have been licensed for the past three years.
• CDL with passenger endorsement required for 15+ passenger vehicles.
• Age 21–80; additional documentation for drivers over 75.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in five years.
• Undergo and pass a background check and yearly Physician's Statement if medically required.
• Complete drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director.
