Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, with a clean driving record and a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs.

Responsibilities include transporting students and volunteers, following traffic laws, maintaining bus safety and cleanliness, and assisting students with boarding.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Regular driver's license and clean driving record for past five years.
• Undergo background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain safety and cleanliness of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and assist with boarding/exiting.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed upon with the Director.
