Chamberlain University is seeking a Student Support Liaison to promote student success with holistic, student-centered support across multiple service areas. This role acts as a key point of contact, driving persistence by proactively engaging students and removing barriers, and collaborating with campus teams to resolve inquiries in alignment with Chamberlain Care.

The position reports to Advising and Retention Services and requires effective communication, teamwork, and a customer-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in higher education, customer service, or related area.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter with good prioritization.
• Familiar with software tools including Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Copilot.
• Knowledgeable of higher ed federal and state regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to decide with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student questions and connect them to university resources.
• Assist with appointment scheduling, portal navigation, and self-service tools.
• Promote student opportunities and activities (work study, clubs, Chamberlain Care Closet).
• Plan and facilitate events (career fairs, open houses, workshops, graduation).
• Assist with local/state funding, military services, and scholarship questions.
• Serve as contact for compliance audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve retention through processes and tech.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of enterprise applications and business processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned; comply with all policies.
