Job summary

Chamberlain University in Indianapolis seeks a Student Support Liaison to promote student success by providing holistic, student-centered assistance across services. You will be a primary contact for students, coordinate with campus teams, and help resolve inquiries to keep students engaged and progressing toward their degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of experience in higher education, customer service, or related area.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter with strong prioritization.
• Familiarity with Word, Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Copilot; SIS experience a plus.
• Knowledge of higher ed regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student questions and connect them to university resources; collaborate with departments for a seamless experience.
• Assist students with appointment scheduling, portal navigation, and self-service tools.
• Promote and support student opportunities and activities (work-study, student orgs, tutoring, Chamberlain Care Closet).
• Plan and facilitate events with the Campus Support Coordinator (career fairs, open houses, workshops, graduation).
• Assist with questions on local/state funding, military services, scholarships.
• Serve as the point of contact for compliance audits.
• Identify opportunities and implement processes and technology to enhance student retention.
• Maintain knowledge of enterprise applications and business processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
