Job summary

Chamberlain University in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Student Support Liaison to promote student success by providing holistic, student-centered support across campus services. You will be a key contact for students, helping remove barriers to persistence and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely resolution of inquiries.

The role reports to Advising and Retention Services and requires a Bachelor's degree and at least one year in higher education or customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year in higher education or customer service.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to student questions and connect them to resources. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and supportive student experience.
• Assist students with appointment scheduling, portal navigation, and other self-service tools and resources.
• Promote and support student opportunities and activities (e.g., federal work study, student organizations, etc.).
• Plan and facilitate events such as career fairs, open houses, workshops, and graduation.
• Assist students with questions regarding funding, military services, and scholarships.
• Serve as the point of contact for compliance audits.
• Identify opportunities and implement process and technology solutions that enhance the student retention journey.
• Develops and maintains knowledge of the various enterprise applications and business processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
